The RGC is delighted to welcome new members. Our membership year runs from July through June and annual dues are $25. If you join between January and June, dues are half price.

Membership Requirements:

Prospective members attend two meetings as a guest. The meetings attended don't have to be consecutive.

Because there’s no general meeting in November, December and June, RGC events attended during these months don't count toward membership.

If you’d like to come to a meeting or have any questions, contact membership chair
Andie Heery at andie@andieheery.com

During the Year:

RGC members are asked to participate actively on at least two committees and to display one floral arrangement, either singly or in a group. Members also donate six or more plants for the Plant Sale held on the Town Green each May. (A donation in lieu of plants is also okay.) Periodically, every member is asked to contribute to the light luncheon held before each meeting.

Major Committees:

Civic Beautification: (Garden Sites, Whiskey Barrels (Great for beginners)
Plant Sale: (Publicity, buying, sales, set-up, cashiers, break-down)
November Boutique: (Workshops, publicity, set-up, sales)
Youth Activities
Garden Therapy

Friends of the Redding Garden Club

If you’re interested in our activities but unable to participate actively, consider becoming a Friend of the Redding Garden Club. It’s a great way to stay in touch and support the RGC without having to fulfill membership requirements. It also makes a nice gift for friends, fellow gardeners, young mothers, and anyone new to town.

Friends of the Redding Garden Club receive our monthly newsletter, learn about speakers and programs in advance, and are eligible for field trips, all while participating in club activities as time and ability permit.

Become a Friend: The cost is $25 a year (July through June). There is also a $4 guest fee
for every meeting attended. Please note: members have priority when field trips and workshops are limited.
